🌿 Probably the Most "Amateur" Yarn Shop Owner in the World
Hey, I'm the founder of PUQOO — and probably the most amateur yarn shop owner you'll ever meet.
I can’t do fancy stitches, I don’t write complex patterns, and I’ve never completed a perfect project in my life. But somehow, here I am — running a yarn shop.
Why? Because yarn saved me.
💔 A Life in Tangles — Rescued by Yarn
Half a year ago, my life was a complete mess. Like a ball of tangled yarn — I was diagnosed with depression, quit my job, and floated through my days like a crumpled piece of paper. I had no plans, no energy, no clue how to "get better."
Then, one day, I found an old box tucked away in a dusty corner. Inside were some pale gray yarn balls and a half-finished scarf, with knitting needles still stuck in it.
Suddenly, memories came rushing back — I had secretly knitted that scarf for my crush years ago. But it turned out so ugly, I panicked and never gave it to him.
🐰 From a Messy Scarf to a Crooked Bunny
I stared at that yarn for a long time, then decided to try again. I followed some online tutorials and turned the yarn into a slightly misshapen bunny.
It wasn’t easy. I had to count every stitch, and every time I got distracted, the whole thing went sideways. But strangely, this forced focus gave my anxious mind a break — a tiny pocket of calm.
With yarn in my hands, my brain couldn’t spiral. Loop by loop, stitch by stitch, the noise faded away.
🌸 Allowing Imperfection — One Stitch at a Time
I let the bunny be imperfect. Its head was crooked, its legs uneven — I even stuffed its belly with old pillow filling.
But who cares? If I messed up, I could just unravel and try again.
And then it hit me — why couldn’t I do the same with life? Embrace the mess. Allow the redo.
🧶 PUQOO Was Born — To Share This Comfort
Yarn saved me, so why not let it comfort others too?
Maybe you don’t need yarn to restart your life, but you could definitely use a little softness to face this hard-edged world.
So PUQOO was born — a small shop built with love, clumsy fingers, and lots of hope. I built the site, chose the products, and promoted it everywhere. The result? Complete silence.
But who cares? Just like knitting, if I mess up, I’ll unravel and start over.
☁️ Not a Master’s Workshop — Just a Real Yarn Shop
PUQOO isn’t a shrine for experts, nor a classroom for pros. It’s just a small, real shop that sells not perfection, but warmth.
You can knit a scarf — or your worries. You can knit a dishcloth — or your boredom. Or you can just hold the yarn in your hands and feel better.
💌 And That Bunny?
I never gave it away. That old crush? He’s now my husband — the one who stayed and helped me knit my life back together.
So don’t worry about being perfect. Enjoy the moment. Catch whatever the wind brings.
That’s PUQOO. And if you’ve read this far, welcome — let’s knit slowly, together.
